Lalashe Maasai Mara is a small intimate luxury tented safari lodge located in Maasai Mara, one of the best African Wildlife Safari destinations in the world.

Our comfy and beautifully designed main area that has indoor and outdoor relaxing and dining lounges over looks a waterhole that is frequently visited by many resident wildlife from Zebras, Giraffes, Impalas, Buffalos, Warthogs, Topis, Wildebeests, elephants among other animals, Lions and resident leopards have been regularly seen at night around the camp.

There is both indoor and outdoor relaxing lounge connected to our fully stocked all-inclusive bar that has tea and coffee making facilities. Infinity pool with sunbed area is to be enjoyed during the hottest part of the day as you watch wildlife pass by.

In the evening our lantern lit camp-fire area is not to be missed as evening drinks ,bitings and stories are shared with other guests and the lodge’s hosts and for some African Wildlife movies we have a satellite Tv Lounge.

Private, Romantic and Spacious Luxury Suites

All our very luxurious- spacious suites are spread a long a small stream each commanding excellent views of open plains of the Mara that gives our guests arm chair safaris while in their own suites. You will very frequently spot many animals from your suite who will either be feeding on the acacia woodland infront of the camp or going for drink at our water hole in the Main area.

During the hottest part of the day after your morning safari we invite you to dip into your private plunge pool in each room or just relax on day beds or our outdoor spacious lounge with a book and perhaps a drink.All our comfortable suites features indoor and outdoor showers, indoor and outdoor lounges, fully stocked private all inclusive mini bar, floor and ceiling fans,bath tab with a view and outdoor dining area.

Our experienced chefs at Lalashe Maasai Mara will always prepare very delicious food and we take all our guests needs with a lot of attention where our head chef or camp manager will always meet you on arrival and discuss with you what we have on our Menus, We are very flexible and we can always fix your wishes with pleasure.We go bespoke with our meals!

We as well have an all inclusive bar with good selection of both Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks,tea and coffee making facilities.Our hosts will always prepare cockatails for you when in the main area or in your own suite.

We take care of all requests such as Vegan, Vegetarians, Halal, Gluten free and any other preferences.

When it comes to dining with us we have several set ups during your stay with us, team will always ensure you get the best dining experience. Our dining set up features; Dining under the stars/Al fresco at our outdoor decks by the pool in the camp or Private live cooking (Our chefs will be present) Bush breakfast/Bush Lunch or Bush dinner out in the open plains or Bushes of Maasai Mara, our bush dinners can be combined with our lovey sundowners. Our Indoor and Balcony dining areas are also welcoming during the hottest part of the day (Ceiling and floor fans installed for your comfort) or during rainy days.And during your stays with us the team is always happy to also serve you meals in your room, each of our rooms have private and own dining areas with the views of open plains of the Mara.

A STAY TO CHERISH FOR A LIFETIME
It’s been a few weeks since I returned to the US after a stay at Lalashe Mara Camp that I will cherish for a lifetime. Every day our guide brought us to locations where there were countless chances to view wildlife, surprisingly up close yet entirely safely. For me, the most memorable part of each safari was the “Sundowner”—cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at sunset served right onboard the Land Cruiser. After an excitement-packed day, we came “home” to our completely private, beautiful and meticulously maintained accommodations, including outdoor showers and a refreshing “plunge pool”. We dined and were served drinks by a warm, friendly staff at an elegant lodge with a panoramic view. Here, generously portioned, gourmet meals were served throughout the day and the well-stocked bar was always open. I can’t wait until I return someday, but until I do, I can revisit my hundreds of pictures and revel in a million memories. Thanks everyone at Lalashe Mara. It was nothing short of fantastic. Activities

Game drives (Safaris)

All our game drives are conducted by very experienced professional Silver and Gold level Safari Guides. Each and every individual booking is assigned a private guide and 4×4 open sided Game viewer, No shared Game drives and this gives our guests unlimited time to plan their time as per their wish without having to consult other guests. In Lalashe Maasai Mara all our Safaris are done in the Main Reserve twice a day, early in the morning before sunrise and late in the evening before sunsets but our guests will always plan with their guides what it suits them the best. Our 4x4 customised safari vehicles depart early in the morning, and late in the afternoon when the temperature is cooler and the big cats and other game is more active. This is also the best time for our photography enthusiasts, as the lighting is still soft. Our expert guide will guide you through the Magical Maasai Mara, while you encounter the Big Five and the other wildlife.

Walking Safaris

This is the best way of getting closer to nature. Your senses of sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing would be put to action at every step; Here you will step out of your safari vehicle and our qualified naturalists and experienced guides will leads this walking safari. Get closer to the giraffes, zebras, impalas and other plains game, smell some of the plants, taste some of the edible plants, touch some of the wildlife products, hear those snorting impala rams roaring, identify foot prints left by lions or leopards at night and other game and identify some interesting small game like spiders, butterflies, dung beetles, termites amongst others.

Cultural visits

Visit one of the villages in the Mara and learn a lot about our Maasai people and their interesting cultures. Here you will photograph Maasai warriors and women as they take you through their different entertaining songs with great jumps and moves. They will also welcome you to join them at your own comfort. Thereafter the Maasai cultural guide will take you to see Maasai huts and the cattle/sheep/goat’s lion proof kraal or boma. You will also get to learn and experience their culture.

Hot Air Balloon Safaris

Seeing Mara and its great wildlife from above is just breathtaking. Balloon rides last for about 45 minutes to about 1 Hour 15 minutes before having our famous champagne breakfast. This experience is not inclusive of our rates and is paid for separately. Please contact our reservation desk or your preferred travel agent for rates.

Photographic Safaris

Whether you are a professional photographer leading your small group of visitors on a photographic safari, are just a photography enthusiast yourself, we can assist you in following some of the great wildlife Kenya has to offer. Our open-sided 4x4 safari vehicles are custom made for photography and thus offer you great opportunity to capture some great images.

Rhino Sanctuary Visits

Rhinos are some of the rare species to be spotted in the world, While on safari in Maasai Mara we will be able to take you to one and only White Rhino Conservation Sanctuary in the Mara where two Rhinos Koffi Annan (Male) and Queen Elizabeth (Female) resides. The drive is almost one hour 20 minutes from the camp and the experience is worth it. The rangers will go on a short walk with you as you search for them. Once with them you will be amazed by their close encounter on foot.

Sundowners

Our afternoon game drives offer our guests fantastic wildlife sightings. As the temperature cool, and the sun dips below the horizon, the bush comes alive. Big cats awaken from their daytime rest and bush’s nocturnal residents become active. As the day transitions into evening, our guides will find a safe spot to stop the game drive vehicles, and treat our guests to a sundowner where guests will get opportunity to watch African sun setting down.
