The purpose of Collecting your personal data
- To help in having a booking contract/Confirmation between you and ourselves where full Names are required.
- To constantly communicate with you when travelling
- To book other accommodations (City Hotels and other hotels that are not part of our collection).
- To book your transport services with Airlines or other transport Agencies.
- For our financial services such as audits and accounting
- When required by ourselves or any of Kenyan authorities or other authorities in good faith for legal, compliance and crime detection and prevention purposes and we always carefully review and validate these requests before any personal information is disclosed.
Protection and storage of your personal Data.
We are mandated by law to protect the personal information that you share with us and safeguard such privacy by:
- Placing confidentiality contracts on our employees.
- Permanently Deleting, Erasing or destroying personal information no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected for however We are not required to comply with such requests to destroy personal information if the processing of the information is required for compliance with a legal obligation; or for the process in establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Exceptions from our privacy policy
Lalashe Maasai Mara and Lalashe Mara Ripoi the right to take photographs during the operation of the guests’ stay and use them for promotional purposes. By booking accommodation with Lalashe Maasai Mara and Lalashe Ripoi it will be deemed that Guests have consented to the use by Lalashe Maasai Mara and Lalashe Ripoi of any photographic image taken of them whilst on safari with us. Guests who prefer their photos not be used should communicate prior to arrival or on arrival to be exempted from this.
